“Made in America,” said President Biden as he began his remarks on manufacturing and the economy at the Volvo Group Powertrain plant in Hagerstown, Maryland. As the president pointed to the recently released jobs report, he said the “jobs market continues to show resilience,” and that wage growth for workers continues to grow. President Biden went on to highlight the differences between his economic agenda and the Republican agenda, saying if Republicans were to win control of Congress, they will undo recently passed legislation such as the Inflation Reduction Act. close
