Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) said the U.S. military is falling behind its adversaries, such as China, with regards to military modernization and innovation efforts. The lawmaker made the remarks during a virtual conversation with the Hudson Institute on how the U.S. military can harness innovation from the commercial sector to maintain the country’s military advantage. Several topics were discussed, including the use of artificial intelligence, modernizing military battle systems, the war in Ukraine, and the threat a potential invasion of Taiwan by China poses to the world. close
