The Supreme Court Bar convened to honor the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall. Former colleagues and law clerks of Justice Marshall described his career and his contributions, through the U.S. legal system, to the lessening of segregation of African Americans. Following the speeches, resolutions honoring Justice Marshall were adopted. Retired Justice William Brennan was present but did not speak. close
