President Biden thanked congressional members from both parties for passing a bill to prevent a nationwide rail worker strike during a bill signing ceremony at the White House. The president acknowledged the vote was a tough one for many lawmakers but stressed passing it was the right thing for the U.S. economy. He also talked about his administration’s economic actions, pointing to the November jobs report as proof.
