Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and other Senate Republican leaders spoke to reporters in the Capitol following their weekly caucus luncheon. Senator McConnell said says a short-term continuing resolution may be necessary if Congress cannot reach agreement on fiscal year 2023 spending levels. He also said former President Donald Trump would have difficulty being into office again if he believes the Constitution should be terminated. close
