Josh Green, the new governor of Hawaii, gave an inaugural address at the Neal Blaisdell Arena near downtown Honolulu. Governor Green, who previously served as Hawaii’s lieutenant governor, talked about how he and the administration worked to combat chronic homelessness by building “kauhale” villages across the state, as well as his work in responding to a measles outbreak in Samoa and the COVID-19 pandemic in Hawaii.
