Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm highlighted how local communities can benefit from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS and Science ACT, and the Inflation Reduction Act during remarks at the U.S. Conference of Mayors winter meeting in Washington, D.C. New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D), also delivered remarks on gun safety laws, the opioid epidemic, and the need for comprehensive immigration reform. Also appearing at the meeting were members of the business community, financial sector and advocacy groups, who discussed small business investment, broadband access, and the Latino vote. close
