Three members of President Biden’s administration - Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Attorney General Merrick Garland - addressed the nation’s mayors during their conference in Washington, D.C. Commerce Secretary Raimondo focused on new laws passed under the Biden administration that are helping spur new technology and innovation. Transportation Secretary Buttigieg spoke about public safety and the need to reduce deadly vehicle crashes. Lastly, Attorney General Garland stressed the need to address fentanyl and other synthetic drug overdoses in America. close
