“Our state has never been in a better fiscal position than it is today,” said Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) as he delivered his State of the State address from the Capitol in Madison. He touched on a variety of topics, including education and child care investment, clean drinking water, public safety, health care and mental health investment, workforce development, the economy, and clean energy. As the governor finished his remarks, he welcomed the University of Wisconsin’s marching band to close out his address to the joint session of the state’s legislature. close
