National Governors Association Chair Phil Murphy (D-NJ) and Vice Chair Spencer Cox (R-UT) held a news conference at the conclusion of the association’s 2023 winter meeting in Washington, D.C. They said there was broad bipartisan support among the governors for implementing President Biden’s agenda on infrastructure and jobs. They also took questions on the debt ceiling, the drought in the western United States, and implementing solutions for mental health challenges. close
