The White House defended President Biden’s orders to take down two additional flying objects over the weekend, bringing the total number to four the U.S. military has shot down in just over a week’s time. One of the objects was over Canada. The U.S. coordinated with the Canadian government to shoot it down. The U.S. has yet to identify three of the four objects' origins. The fourth is a Chinese spy balloon. China has since accused the U.S. of having surveillance balloons over its country. National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby told reporters that wasn’t true. close
