“The U.S. will have another round of assistance for Ukraine tomorrow,” said National Security Council Communications Coordinator John Kirby while discussing talking points for tomorrow’s meeting with President Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. In addition, he answered reporters' questions on a variety of topics including the poisoning of Iranian schoolgirls and Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also fielded questions on breaking news that President Biden planned to sign the Republican-backed D.C. crime bill. The president shared this news while meeting with Democrats on Capitol Hill, prior to the briefing. close
