President Biden announced a nuclear-powered submarine deal with Australia and the United Kingdom during his remarks on the Australia-United Kingdom-United States (AUKUS) Partnership from Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego. The AUKUS Partnership is a security agreement among the three countries to stabilize, secure, and protect the Indo-Pacific Region. Joining the president on stage also for remarks were British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. close
