Gen. David Berger, commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, said incidents like the recent Russian jet colliding with a U.S. drone over the Black Sea, is a big worry for him not only with Russia but also China because of the potential implications whether intentional or unintentional. Gen. Berger spoke about this during remarks on readiness and modernization efforts at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Other topics he spoke about included warfare technological advances, recruitment and retention, and freedom of the press. close
