Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder held a briefing following a Russian jet bringing down a U.S. drone near Ukraine in international airspace. He didn’t provide any new details on the investigation, but said it was ongoing and the U.S. had confidence Russian authorities wouldn’t be able to recover any useful bits of debris left behind from the wreckage.
