Losing a Generation was the first-prize middle school winner in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. Ben Kurian, a seventh grader at Olentangy Liberty Middle School in Powell, Ohio, produced this video on the 2023 theme: “If you were a newly-elected member of Congress, which issue would be your first priority and why?” The local cable provider was Spectrum.

C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. close
