Travis Hill, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) board vice chair, joined the Bipartisan Policy Center for a discussion on federal banking regulation. With focus on the recent failures of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, he touched on several areas, including the internal and external factors that led to the failure of these banks, the FDIC’s response, protections for the bank depositors, and the state of financial markets in the wake of the banks' demise.
