President Biden gave remarks on business development in the Northern Ireland capital of Belfast as part of his trip marking the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. Speaking from Ulster University, President Biden talked about the long-standing cultural and economic ties between the U.S. and Northern Ireland and pledged to continue strengthening those ties. He also spoke of the success of the Good Friday Agreement in establishing peace between Northern Ireland’s Unionist and Nationalist factions and how that peace had enabled economic growth to flourish. close
