Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said he would not comment on the ongoing investigation of the leak of classified Pentagon documents, but said leadership was taking it “seriously.” During his daily briefing with the press, the general referred to the leak as a" deliberate criminal act," and that Pentagon leadership was reviewing how classified information is shared and who has access to it. It was reported that the suspected leaker is a 21-year-old member of the Air National Guard from Massachusetts. Other topics addressed included Syria, the war in Ukraine, and China’s recent military exercises in the Taiwan Strait. close
