Joining Mr. Sopko at the witness table were Defense Department Inspector General Robert Storch, Acting State Department Inspector General Diana Shaw, and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Acting Deputy Inspector General Nicole Angarella. They addressed several topics, including the Visa program for refugees from Afghanistan, the impact of the Doha Agreement signed by former President Trump and the Taliban, humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, and U.S. military equipment left behind in the country.
