Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate held a news conference to announce 288 arrests resulting from a multinational operation targeting fentanyl and other opioid traffickers. Dubbed “Operation SpecTor,” authorities involved with the operation seized more than 850 kilograms of drugs, including 64 kilograms of fentanyl and fentanyl-laced products, most of which was being sold via online transactions on the dark web. close
