Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) was the keynote speaker at a picnic fundraiser for Representative Randy Feenstra (R-IA), held at a classic car museum in Sioux Center, Iowa. After being introduced by Representative Feenstra, Governor DeSantis told the crowd of about 700 attendees what he saw as his top successes as governor, and how he wants to take his approach of low taxes and increased support for socially conservative causes to the national level. Governor DeSantis then met and took pictures with many of those in attendance, as did his wife, Casey. Afterward, he participated in a photo op with Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R). When asked by a reporter if had any official announcement for a presidential campaign, Governor DeSantis responded, “Stay tuned.” close
