President Biden delivered remarks on his administration’s land and water conservation efforts. He spoke of the threat from mining companies to Alaska’s Bristol Bay, but said that his administration took action to protect this ecosystem. He was joined by Alannah Hurley, executive director of United Tribes of Bristol Bay. The president also spoke about his executive orders on conservation, including his “America the Beautiful” initiative and the establishment of national monuments. close
