2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy delivered remarks in Washington, D.C., on his plan to dramatically reduce the federal workforce -- by up to 75% from the 2022 estimated national headcount of 2.87 million. Mr. Ramaswamy made this announcement and revealed details of the plan at the America First Policy Institute, a think tank established by former members of the Trump administration. Following his remarks, he spoke about the plan with Brooke Rollins, the institute’s founder. close
