Senators Schumer (D-NY), Todd Young (R-IN), Martin Heinrich (D-NM), and Mike Rounds (R-SD) briefed reporters following a closed-door meeting on artificial intelligence with the the founder of Chat GPT and CEOs of Facebook, Tesla, Google, and other companies. Topics included opportunities with AI, concerns around open-source use of the technology, government regulations and national security, and American leadership in the industry.
