“Absolutely not, not at the time I see any reason to support a motion to vacate,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told reporters when asked if she would support efforts by some of her conservative colleagues to oust House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) from his position because of government spending. She was also asked about efforts to keep the government funded and whether she believes Rep. Matt Gaetz would follow through on his threat to call for a vote on Mr. McCarthy’s speakership. close
