President Biden announced two White House officials, acting Labor Secretary Julie Su and Economic Adviser Gene Sperling, would be heading to Detroit to offer support with contract negotiations between the big three automakers and the United Auto Workers (UAW) union. President Biden stressed he hoped all parties would return to the table for talks and agree on a “win-win” contract. close
