Judge Rao was appointed to the court by former President Trump in 2019. She filled the seat vacated by now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Prior to the court, Judge Rao served in the Trump administration as the administrator for the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. close
