Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered remarks at the 2023 United Nations General Assembly, pleading for other nations to continue supporting Ukraine as it battled Russian forces in the eastern fifth of the country. He said Russian military actions in Ukraine were “clearly” genocide, and warned that failure to stop Russia would embolden it to violate other countries' territories as well. close
