Education Secretary Miguel Cardona and Rep. Alma Adams (D-NC) joined presidents from several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and executives from Amazon, Adobe, and Cisco for a discussion on investing in HBCUs during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual legislative conference in Washington, D.C. Topics included investing in physical infrastructure and surrounding communities, the impact of the Supreme Court’s affirmative action decision, and partnering with the private and public sector to provide opportunities for students. close
