She also pledged cooperation as there are multiple ongoing investigations into what exactly happened. Ms. Kimura testified before the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. She engaged with lawmakers on several topics, including the utility company’s actions leading up to the deadly wildfire, its weather preparedness plans, and protocols on de-energizing of power lines.
