2024 Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump spoke to supporters at a rally in Clinton Township, Michigan, just outside Detroit. It was hosted at a nonunion auto supplier factory and came a day after President Biden’s trip to Detroit, where he joined striking members of the United Auto Workers (UAW) union. During his remarks, the former president criticized Biden administration policies promoting electric vehicle production and said he would be a stronger ally for Michigan workers. close
