2024 Republican presidential hopefuls Gov. Ron DeSantis (FL), Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy shared the stage at the Family Leader Thanksgiving Family Forum in Des Moines, Iowa. They talked about their views on topics such as religion and abortion. Mr. Ramaswamy explained how his Hindu faith was compatible with Judeo-Christian values, and Ms. Haley described how she learned not to judge others who support the right to abortion, though she herself is against it. The candidates also shared personal experiences of their family members who had suffered miscarriages. Fellow candidate and former President Donald Trump was invited to this event but did not attend. close
