The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs held a series of panels focusing on the issue of homelessness among veterans. This panel looks at the federal plan to break the cycle of homelessness among veterans. Speakers included Marcia Martin, executive director of the U.S. Interagency Council on the Homeless; Representative Bruce Vento (D-MN), who chairs the Speaker’s Task Force on Homelessness; and Dr. Thomas Horvath, who studies veterans and mental health issues as a member of the White House Task Force on Health. close
