A discussion of U.S. Relations with china and Vietnam at a meeting of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Addressing the group Tuesday morning was Winston Lord, Assistant Secretary of State for east asian and pacific affairs. Secretary lord discussed the administration’s position that china should improve its human rights record in order for the United States to extend the most favored nation trading status. Mr. Lord also discussed U.S. relations with Vietnam since the lifting of the U.S. Trade embargo in February. close
