The Concord Coalition is a bipartisan organization that focuses on eliminating the federal budget deficit through educating and organizing the public. The group was founded in 1992 by former Senators Paul Tsongas and Warren Rudman. The group has 150,000 members nationwide. Concord Coalition President Peter Peterson spoke during the opening ceremony concerning the need for public education on the harmful effect it has on U.S. economy. close
