Postmaster General Marvin Runyon, Postal Service CEO Joe Caraveo, and Postal Service CFO Mike Riley testified on the current status and financial condition of the nation’s postal system. Testimony focused on the solvency of the U.S. Postal Service in light of increased electronic competition. Marvin Runyon was named Postmaster General of the U.S. Postal Service in 1992. Prior to coming to the Postal Service, Mr. Runyon served as chairman of the board of the Tennessee Valley Authority from 1988 to 1992. close
