During a discussion of the gay civil rights issues sponsored by the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, homosexual leaders discussed the impact of last year’s march on Washington, D.C. Several leaders of the lesbian and gay civil rights movement, including Representative Barney Frank (D-MA), provided an analysis of current progress and problems as well as the future directions for the movement. The program opened with a video replay of a CNN newscast on the recent march; that portion of the program was dark and difficult to see. close
