Guests spoke on the emergence of conflict resolution as an academic discipline and its importance in the multi-dimensional conflicts around the world, especially after the end of the Cold War. Guests also responded to the questions by telephone from high school students who were located in different areas about such topics as the importance of educating people about different countries and cultures to help create a climate for peace and crises in countries such as Haiti and Rwanda. close
