Legislative Council for the National Rifle Association Richard Gardiner and President of Handgun Control, Inc. Richard Aborn debated the merits of the House Bill that was under consideration that would ban several types of assault weapons. Mr. Gardiner argued that the legislation contradicts the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Mr. Aborn spoke about the need to eliminate weapons of mass destruction.
