Harvard University Commencement Speech
Vice President Gore spoke to graduates of the 343rd commencement ceremony on the twenty-fifth anniversary of his graduaation from Harvard. He spoke about how the problems while he attended Harvard and the problems later years, especially the 1980's had affected American popular attitudes about government. He then addressed how this loss of confidence and trust could be turned around. He also received an honorary degree. close
