The U.S. House of Representatives met and continued debate on the Independent Counsel Reauthorization, which allowed the appointment and funding for investigations into high ranking officials and a Supplemental Housing Appropriations bill. Both measures passed during the session. At the end of regular business the House opened the floor to one hour speeches from members, called Special Orders. The House then adjourned until 10am the following day. close
