Mr. Will, Mr. McCullough, and Mr. Halberstam spoke about their work as political historians. The 90 minute conversation, moderated by Brian Lamb, featured personal stories and anecdotes. Mr. Will, a weekly participant on ABC’s David Brinkley Show, writes a syndicated column for Newsweek. He has also written several books concerning everything from term limits to the intellect of baseball. Mr. McCullough, the author of several biographical manuscripts, has worked for much of his life on preserving U.S. history. He also gained fame as the narrator of the PBS documentary “The Civil War.” Mr. Halberstam is the author of several books concerning recent American history and American principles and ideas. Four of his books concern the relationship between the American people and their sports. close
