Members of parliament in the British House of Commons debated allegations of bribery on the part of two Tory members of the House. The allegations, made public last week, said that two conservative MPs accepted payments of up to 1,500 pounds from businessmen for presenting questions in the house. The story was initially published in the Sunday Times of London. That article said businessmen approached 20 members of parliament from different parties. However, only conservative MPs David Tredinnick and Graham Riddick accepted the money. The businessmen were undercover members of the Sunday Times' Insight investigative team. close
