Edward Freiberger welcomed the C-SPAN School Bus to Birmingham. Reverend Christopher Hamlin spoke about the 16th Street Baptist Church, which was a very important site in the civil rights movement in Birmingham. It served as a black community congregation during Jim Crow Laws and was bombed in 1963, killing 4 young girls. close
