This extensive look at the 1994 Mexican presidential elections featured interviews, campaign rallies and other footage.

At his campaign rally in Mexico City, candidate Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas spoke about the difficult campaign and his plans to democratize and reform the Mexican government and revitalize the economy.

Spokesperson of the Democratic Revolutionary Party, Andrea Dobrowski, talked about the party’s platform. She mentioned the need to democratize the Mexican government and help the millions in abject poverty.

Carlos Almada explained how the Federal Electoral Registry ensured elections were free and fair.

At his final campaign rally, candidate Diego Fernandez addressed supporters of the National Action Party.

Carlos Castillo talked about the National Action Party’s platform and strategy. He emphasized the needs for political and economic freedom.
