Teachers from around the country discussed energy-related issues, which included U.S. reliance on fossil fuels and the emergence of alternative sources of power. They also discussed the Clinton administration’s energy policy and the balancing of U.S. energy needs with concern for environmental protection. This was the first of a five-part exploration of U.S. energy needs funded by a grant from AMOCO. close
