Following a brief video presentation about his life and work, former President George H. W. Bush delivered the keynote address at the 50th-Anniversary Celebration of the United Negro College Fund. The Fund is a consortium of 41 private historically black colleges and universities, primarily devoted to raising operating funds for its members. The former president talked about high points in his career such as the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act and receiving a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II. close
