Constitutional law professor Mark Hager talked about the Kevorkian case and the Michigan Supreme Court consideration of assisted suicide. Michael Betzold of the Detroit Free Press participated by telephone and spoke about being in the courtroom that Tuesday. Dr. Jack Kevorkian was charged with murder under a new Michigan statute prohibiting assisted suicide. He was appealing the law as unconstitutional. close
