Senator Phil Gramm(R-TX) talked about the Republican agenda for 104th Congress. He emphasized decreasing three things, taxes, government spending and regulation. Following his remarks Sen. Gramm took questions from the audience. Senator Larry Craig (R-ID) then addressed the group. He talked about the Republican party’s chance to limit the size and power of the federal government and wasteful spending. He placed focus on creating a balanced budget amendment to reign in spending. The senators spoke at the National Taxpayers Conference in Washington D.C. close
